Richard, I just noticed that your publisher is in my home state of Vermont. I am having a Type-In next week but perhaps you could come and promote your book at a fall/winter event.

I wish they'd put a typewriter image. But it's neat, I like the minimalist look.
I hope we can make it happen!
Thanks for alerting me to your blog. I've added it to the blogrolls on this site and typosphere.net, and posted your type-in poster there.
There's a great typewriter image on the facing page, and of course on the cover. Plus plenty of images throughout the book.
Duh, I thought you meant cover page!
Bravo! :D
Looks great Richard.
Simple and beautiful, just like the machines and movement your book is about.
I do love the slight imperfections on the impressions. That smudge is truth!
Question: was that the natural way it was typed or was it accentuated through some graphics program?
It's a scan of actual typing, which I cleaned up a little in Photoshop.
Several texts in the book are actually typed. Some are in a "typewriter" font. Typospherians will have no trouble telling them apart!
Excellent!
