I've yet to rely on GPS of any kind to know my location, path, or destination.

Like many other technologies, it's an "and", not an "or". You can to use when it suits the situation, ignore it when it doesn't. It's just a tool. Personally, I use it in conjunction with plain old paper maps to find my way to new typewriters! I'm glad we have it.

I agree. Besides, for me, maps made out of paper are easier to use for me. I still remember the horrible disaster that I lived when I moved from Oaxaca City (Mexico) to Morelia (capitol and main city of the state of Michoacan, Mexico) caused by Google Maps, and how I could correct those horrible errors with a map. xD

I love getting lost, I always get there eventually in a roundabout way. It's the roundabout way that makes the journey interesting and exciting.

I've gotten the wrong directions most often from computer maps and GPS. I like real paper maps–still the best.
