    It was interesting to read the circular thought process of this student, as he/she typed away. The student kept coming back to having to THINK about what he/she was writing. Yes, indeed!

    They keep coming back to not so much thinking about the writing, but rather the operation of the apparatus. I think a voluntary group taught to use the typewriter before forming impressions might yield significantly different responses.

    Think and … ding! I like it. Very well stated point about our instant society and things needing to be immediate and the lack of thinking.
