The scary thing is that once protest is no longer powered by electricity, it tends to be fueled by fire and powder. There are worrying signs, things returning from shadow where they were cast long ago for lack of need suggest need is returning, and I wonder if we've forgotten the lessons of '95. /:

Not only can electricity be shut off to control the masses; with one command anything linked via the web can be stopped, our cars, IOT (if anyone is silly enough to give in to that garbage of having everything linked on the internet), and unfortunately many military things. It'll be back to powder like Ted states.

'95? I must have forgotten, because that date means nothing in particular to me!

Yes, and all the experts say that we're ridiculously vulnerable. At least the Russians can't hack my Remington.

Richard: me alegra mucho el que, por fin, mi carta te haya llegado!
En uno de tus comentarios anteriores has dejado clara la idea del poema: nadie puede hackear la Remington.

    Recibe un fuerte abrazo!

it's the year that a certain segment of extremely militant right wing culture found out what it looks like when bellicose rhetoric is turned into violent action. It broke the nerve of the movement and caused a lot of the groups to fade and go underground.. until now. not real sure that the next one will have the same effect with their worldview currently politically focused. spells tend to lose power when used more than once.

well, it looks like it's well and truly started. fortunately, the lunatics are incompetent – still the crazy boils over and nobody's really understanding how large and dangerous this dumpster fire can get. what are ya gonna do when the crazies look and sound just like 46% of the body politic?

Good question. And how will they react if their idol is overthrown?
