Is it a purple typewriter day? Skyriters are lovely little machines and very easy to work on. I have always thought that cutting ones teeth on a Skyriter–when it comes to repairs–is a good piece of advice. They are easy to disassemble and the amount of tool-less repair that can be done is significant. They are light and easy to use. I like them. Your niece should love it.

That is one fine looking Skyriter. I's sure your niece will love it.

Thank you for the skipping hint. I will take a look at mine. Then mine also refuses to advance one letter at times.
