The basement corner where I play typewriter repairman is looking a bit chaotic these days. I’d better get it straightened up, because finding tools and parts on a messy work table can be hard. I’ve recently had to deal with some slippery and inaccessible screws and springs …
… but it’s all very worthwhile, especially the repair work I do for the community.
This card brings that point home. It made my day!
(Don’t forget to take the Perfect Typewriter survey if you haven’t yet.
The poll will close on Saturday morning and I plan to post the results later that day.)
Great workspace! And by my standards, so neat and spacious! And that's one fantastic piece of fan mail. Onward!
Chaos is a wonderful thing
Chaos is strength, Brother Polt. You are a Saint of the Prophet Sholes. (:
Inspired chaos.
Ach. Nur kleine Geister halten Ordnung…
;-)
Or in American: "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds" (Emerson).
Oh lucky man to have such space for a mess. My tinkering comes from a small toolbox and I set-up wherever I can get away with it. Now, if only I would get around to weatherproofing the garage…
It is surely the place where magic happens (ugly ducklings turned into swans) so it needs an aura of mystery… :)
The joy of ABC is powerful though – I see there was some jumping involved :D
Ah … thank you for interpreting that double-headed vertical arrow — I think you're right!
Thank you for sharing a photo of your work space. Now I don't feel so bad about mine!
Dawwwww…. Such a cute picture.
As for your workspace, I don't see anything wrong there!
It's worth it!
Great workspace. A little mess shows work is in progress; nothing at all wrong with that!
