IT COULD VERY WELL BE, AND A CALLING FOR THE TYPOSPHERE.

    "technology's power" in 1967? Wow.
But yes it sure does resonate in the typosphere.

According to Heidegger, the technological era began around 1600. And we ain't seen nothing yet!

Richard is right. We moved from vacuum tubes to silicon and are on our way to single atom carbon circuits in the space of 40 years. Moore's Law is still working out decades after it was proposed. We're now on the brink of functional quantum computing. The devices thirty years from now will be as inconceivable to us as a smart phone would have been in 1982.

Indeed, sounds like us. Phenomenal photography, by the way. Lovely presentation of the typecast.

Richard: AS you know, I have great sympathy with this quote and the attitude it reflects. I wish Heidegger were correct. Unfortunately, a look at actual events is anything but hopeful. In the 35 years since he wrote this quote the desire for technology and digitality has only increased and shows no signs of abating in the general population, especially so among the turnips we teach. The reversal he prophesied is just not there except among the extreme minority–among us, the Tlogger/Type-casters.
